How do I reserve certain purchases for my customers?

It is often necessary to reserve purchases for customers to aid in effective CRM and in cases of special orders. To allow the reservation of purchases for customers:
1. Select View - Settings - Company Database.
2. Click on the tab Module Settings and select Sales and Invoicing.
3. Click on the tab General and ensure there is a tick in the check box titled 'The company reserves purchases for customers'.
To reserve purchases for customers:
1. Select View - Purchase Order - Purchases.
2. Enter the purchase details as usual.
3. Click on the dropdown button for 'Linking/reservation for sales order' in the product line toolbar.
4. Select linking/reservation for sales order.
5. Select the sales order you wish to link the purchase to and close.
